The most important question our guests usually ask is: What is the catering on board? Are the meals freshly prepared, do they contain allergy-causing substances? All groceries used to prepare your meals are delivered fresh ahead of your tour and prepared on board in our fully equipped kitchen. On multi-day tours, fresh food is bought again at mooring stops.
Our chef will prepare all kinds of meals you like, but preference is given to lighter food, which is more digestible and healthy in hot summer time and will not cause any problems when jumping into the water. Our menu selection offers the typical 'mezes', various starters prepared with olive oil, all types of pasta, grilled dishes and of course freshly caught local fish. Salads, fruit and yoghurt are always part of your menu
If you rent a private tour with our gulet yacht, we will ask you in advance to inform us about your preferences, allergies or diets you may have. On board, our chef will then prepare culinary specialties, fresh vegetables and fruit exclusively for you.
If you would like to buy tempting groceries before the start of the tour or when going ashore, our cook will be happy to prepare them for you on board.
BREAKFAST
Traditional breakfast includes bread, butter, jam, honey, olives, tomato, cucumber, cheese, yogurt, eggs, fresh warm bread and tea. Occasionally borek, pide, soups can be a part of breakfast. Coffee and brewed black tea is an indispensable part of breakfast.
LUNCH
During the charter guests usually eat vegetables for lunch. Besides grains, vegetables are also consumed in large quantities in the mediterrianen diet. A vegetable dish may be a main course in a meal. Vegetable dishes are generally served with their own water. Ground beef can also be added to a vegetable dish, but vegetable dishes cooked with olive oil are often served cold and do not contain meat. There is also sometimes a barbecue with meat dishes.
DINNER
Four seas (the Black Sea, the Sea of Marmara, the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea) surround the Turkish countryside, making Turkey a paradise for fish. To mention the most famous fish of Turkey; Red mullet, sea bass, red mullet, cipura, sole, monkfish, dorado, swordfish, grouper and many more.
Grilling fish over charcoal, where the fish juice meets the embers and coats the fish with the smoke, is perhaps the most delicious way to eat fish.
When it comes to meat, lamb and chicken are Turkish favorites and are typically prepared as "kebab". Kebap simply means “roasted”. The traditional meat for kebap is beef, but it can also be goat, chicken, fish and seafood depending on local tastes. Meatballs are made with ground beef that is mixed with special spices, eggs and onions and formed into balls.
Enjoy your meal!
